My passion for Yu-Gi-Oh! began like many others – sometime as a child, with the first packs and the dream of building the perfect deck. What has changed since then: I still play actively, competitively, in Modern and Edison. I am not just a shop owner – I am one of you.

How it all began

Anyone who plays competitively and keeps an eye on the OCG knows the problem: The best products are available in Japan, in Vietnam, in China – but not here. And for years, those who wanted them had to deal with eBay imports.

I was one of them. I regularly imported things from Japan – and every time it was a small adventure. In the worst sense. Shipping costs that hardly paid off, packages stuck at customs, and sometimes orders simply never arrived. Money gone, products gone, frustration high.

Then came the moment that changed everything: Two years ago, my best friend flew to Japan. We FaceTimed almost daily – and he showed me the Japanese shops. Shelf after shelf. Set after set. Accessories I had never seen here before.

At that moment, I knew: This has to come here.

The founding of Jungcards

I prepared for a long time. Not just with setting up the shop, but with understanding: What all is even available in the OCG space? Most people automatically think of Japan when they hear "OCG".
